We found the following conventions to exist on action/thriller web sites:
The theme was relevant to the narrative, in most cases it immersed the audience further into the world of the film- Most contained the iconic title of the film on all pages, which also acted as a link back to the home page
The content of the website was most commonly: gallery/pictures, downloads, videos, synopsis, trailer and links to social networking sites such as Facebook- The most common colours used were red, white, black and blue
- All contained moving image/flash to assist a technological theme
